• Court Master (Shorthand):
  • Bachelor’s degree in Law from a recognized university.
  • Proficiency in English Shorthand (120 w.p.m.) and Typing (40 w.p.m.).

Supreme Court of India Recruitment 2024 Selection Process

The selection process includes the following stages for all posts:

1. Typing Speed Test on Computer
   • Minimum typing speed: 40 words per minute.
   • Maximum marks: 10, Qualifying marks: 5.
2. Shorthand Test (English)
   • Speed: 120 w.p.m. (Court Master), 110 w.p.m. (Senior PA), and 100 w.p.m. (PA).
   • Transcription time: 45 minutes.
   • Maximum marks: 100, Qualifying marks: 50.
3. Written Test
   • Objective-type questions:
     • General English: 50 questions
     • General Knowledge: 25 questions
     • General Aptitude: 25 questions (logical reasoning)
   • Total marks: 100, Qualifying marks: 50 (45 for reserved categories).
4. Computer Knowledge Test
   • Objective-type test (10 marks, 5 qualifying).
5. Interview
   • Maximum marks: 30, Qualifying marks: 15 (13.5 for reserved categories).

Candidates must qualify at each stage to progress to the next. Final merit will be prepared based on performance across all stages.

Supreme Court of India Recruitment 2024 Test Centers

The examinations will be conducted in 23 cities across 16 states, including Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Kolkata, Chennai, Hyderabad, and more. Candidates must select their preferred test centers during the application process.
